IS CHRISTMAS THE MOST WONDERFUL TIME OF THE YEAR?<\/p>\n

Why do you\u00a0 love (or NOT love) the Christmas season?<\/p>\n

As a child, I LOVED Christmas.\u00a0 I loved the festivities, the presents, the family gatherings.\u00a0 I did not have to do much BUT SHOW UP.<\/p>\n

Then I grew up.\u00a0 I still loved the season, but it was a lot more work and a lot more stress.<\/p>\n

NOW?? Well, through the years I’ve accumulated a lot of scars…..self-inflicted by my own sin, or inflicted on me by others.<\/p>\n

Now Christmas is not so much about showing up, doing everything right, getting everything done.\u00a0 It is about WHO SHOWED UP FOR ME.<\/p>\n

Jesus came for the wounded.\u00a0 He BECAME the wounded Himself…for our transgressions. By His wounds we are HEALED.\u00a0 (http:\/\/ISAIAH 53:5)<\/a><\/p>\n

SO…….CHRISTMAS IS ALL ABOUT HEALING.<\/p>\n

As the great preacher Charles Spurgeon once said,<\/p>\n

THINK ABOUT JESUS’ LOVE.<\/p>\n

SEE HIS TEARFUL EYES, HIS BLOODY WOUNDS.<\/p>\n

THIS IS LOVE THAT STREAMS OUT FOR YOU<\/p>\n

STRONG, FAITHFUL, PURE, AND LASTING LOVE.<\/p>\n

THIS LOVE DOESN’T CARE WHERE YOU HAVE BEEN OR WHAT YOU HAVE DONE.<\/p>\n

JUST TRUST IN HIM…….AND YOU WILL BE SAVED<\/p>\n

The sweetest gift of Christmas is the same every day of the year!<\/p>\n
